Platforms have additional and unique differences - some will dip, some won't, some will be twice the width, some will have a chain of orbs connecting to the platform, upon landing on the platform its orbs will rotate and pull the player in whilst increasing in speed, if Sonic does not exit the platform it will eventually explode and fly off the screen.Įach Act has a slightly different design, and is fitted with unique gimmicks to differentiate from one another.
